....1983 Joined the Fine Art School
of Addis Ababa. Studied painting, sculpture and graphics, majoring sculpture
and holds Diploma with great distinction in 1987. From 1988 – 1995
studies in Russia at the Vasily Ivanov Surikov State Academy of Art in
Moscow. There specialized in Monumental painting (mural art) and received
with Honor Master of Fine Degree. Also studied computer graphics in Moscow.
Since returning to Ethiopia, from 1996 – 2000 assigned as a group
leader to computer Graphics and studio craft art Department of the Ethiopian
Television.
2001 onward, teaches at the Addis Ababa University School of fine Art
and Design in the Department of monumental painting studies and computer
graphics.
